My review of Swedish Urgent Care in Redmond tonight; I brought my 10 year old son in tonight and found he has strep throat. The staff was quick and nice but Dr. Fisher was genuinely helpful, kind and not in a rush. I was truly impressed with him! When we were given the prescription by a staff member I came out and asked the same staff member to call the pharmacy so my son wouldnt have to wait. (he has a fever and nauseous) She bluntly said NO. I was shocked how she responded and asked her why not and she said because we are closed now as shes putting on her jacket. I explained again that hes not feeling well and I understand she wants to leave but I would appreciate if she took a min to call it in. She went silent, glared into my eyes the whole walk up to me while turning red in the face and snatched the prescription from me! I told her I work in the medical field and this rude behavior and downright unwillingness to help a patient out would NEVER be acceptable in my office! Then took the paper back. Even the security guy apologized for my experience with her! Ridiculous! People like her do not belong in this industry.
