My scallion growing experiment was a great success. I purchased scallion from my local market and chopped of the top part that I needed for cooking and soaked the bottom half in water. The first picture shows what the scallions looked like after sitting an entire day in water. The second picture shows what happened after sitting in water for 9 days. Try this experiment yourself.
