My school reports stated consistently from Junior school through to end of secondary that Chris does enough to get by. Oft I was chastised about this.. My grades were enough... Enough to be accepted to study maths as Canterbury but a place I never took up. Why? I did just enough because deep down I was satisfying the system... But spending most of my time doing what I loved... And I was fortunate I could get the exams without constant study. I had already rejected the system that you are your exam results, you are what you do... The relationships you build... Its easy to see it now, looking back... But I didnt know it then, so Important we take this incessant pressure of our children... Their exams dont define them... They do! ... They are all amazing... They just need to find their passion :)
