My seven year old boy Jagger passed away last month after having a tumor removed from his throat. He made it about a week before he stopped eating and passed away. His vet and I both believe it was cancer and just wasnt caught. I miss him VERY much and am currently bunnyless as we have been going through a rough patch and are trying to focus on us and our 5 remaining animals (a VERY old senior dog with bone cancer, 2 cats, a rat and a goose) Our other pets have been what has gotten me through at all and after moving 3 states to a farm and putting out EVERYTHING we had to do so to keep our pets and us together we are trying really hard to keep everyone and not have to rehome our still living pets due to inability to care for them. I would eventually like a new bunny...or better yet a bonded pair but I want to be able to properly care for them when I get them. Meanwhile Seamus, Norman, Valentine, Winnie and Noah are getting us through it with their love and support. These are our other babies. Seamus is the dog, Valentine is the black and white cat, Norman is the black Siberian, Noah the goose and Winston the rat who recently lost his cage mate but will be getting a new friend as soon as possible as I know it is not healthy for rats to be by themselves. Once we can settle things by animals a friend for Winnie is the first order of business. (btw we live on a 30 acre farm so we hope to be able to do a lot by rescue and loving animals in need once we are through the rough patch. I was wondering if everyone else who loves their bunnies so much here has other pets? What kind? What are their names? :)
