My sister Alicia, her husband Russ Jordan and I are saddened by the passing of our father, John. He entered eternal rest in peace and pain free as a result of the wonderful East End Hospice and the care he received from The Dominican Sisters. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word, a purple heart veteran of World War II, proud union member for 65 years of the IBEW which his father Denis J. Crimmins was a founder in the 1930s. Dedicated to progressive democratic principles all his life. Stalwart family man and husband for 60yrs to Dorothy Acton Crimmins who died in 2008. Backbone of the family, someone you could always go to for help or advise and beloved in particular by his daughter, his sweatheart, Alicia Joan who was his primary care giver and advocate these last few months. Rest in Peace Dad There will be a visitation at Yardley Pino Funeral Home, East Hampton on Wednesday July 9th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm
