My steps easy & light as I walked through the early morning darkness going about morning turnout, my heart with a lighthearted joy engaging in my silly little Good Morning chats with each horse, my ears taking in the simple beauty of the nighttime symphony of tranquil sounds, crickets & night insects with an occasional chiming in from a few funny frog who sounded like they were auditioning for to perform the squeaky door sound effects in an old Alfred Hitchcock movie, my heart giggling with the funny visual my imagination conjured up in the darkness. A layer of low lying clouds, like a soft blanket of gray-blue sheet cotton covering the night sky from view. A short time later while cleaning stalls, actually humming to myself in rhythm along with the crickets & night insects, pausing to chat with my Mom about the puzzle her & my Dad are working on together (their favorite relaxing hobbies they share in together), my heart finding such a sense of joy in the little details she is sharing with about the autumn colors & deer in the current puzzle & her enthusiasm over the next puzzle which is a nature scene with trees & bluebirds. As we were finishing up walking down the barn aisle my Mom paused looking at the eastern sky which was absolutely breathtaking, the blanket of sheet cotton looked like Mother Nature had dipped the edge along the horizon in a shade of indescribable deep pink colored water, with each passing moment the cotton like clouds absorbing the deep pink color upward blending with the original gray-blue color, creating a magnificent blend of colors layered through the soft cotton like clouds, deep pink fading into a dark purple-blue fading upward into a soft pastel blue-lavender-gray. Standing there in the barn aisle with my Mom taking in the incredible beauty of this precious new day unfolding before us...Countless precious gifts, moments spent taking in the simple beauty surrounding me, & my heart filled with joy, enthusiasm, faith, immense Love & indescribable gratitude all before 6:30am...Life is truly a beautiful & amazing journey...
