My success story is going to be featured on Lifetime Television in the next week or so. They have already shown the weight-loss episode, now they are about to show the financial episode. I was going to wait until then before I posted this, but I feel theres someone out there that needs this hope now. Most of yall know from my postings that Ive been a single-parent for many years. As with the majority of single parents, we have our struggles. I went through 4 evictions, and those were only the ones that were filed. There were many other times I was asked to move because I just didnt have the money to pay my bills. I will never forget one time that I was evicted and I came home from work to find my landlord had taken what he wanted out of my house and my neighbors were walking out with everything else they wanted. It was probably one of the worst days of my life. Not only did I lose most of my belongings, but there were sentimental items I lost as well. Just talking about it makes me tear up. I lived paycheck to paycheck. It got so bad that at one point I lost my car and was having to ride a bus and a train to work every day. This time last year my son was a senior in high school and having to donate plasma so that he would have gas and lunch money for school. I even sold my couch and kitchen table on craigslist and pawned my televisions. These things are not what Im proud of. I felt so helpless and cried myself to sleep most nights. At one point I even thought about giving my son to his dad because I felt bad for putting him through the struggles and I wanted to give up. Just seemed easier, but I never did. When I discovered skinny body care from a friend of mine promoting it on Facebook, I thought it was a scam. Lol. Something in my gut kept telling me to try it. I did not have the money but something kept pulling me towards it. I wanted to just buy the product, but my friend wanted me to sell it. At that moment we just stood there in Walgreens and counted our blessings. This can happen for all of you too. My goal in life is to help as many people as I can be in the same position.
