My sweet little grandson fell through a glass window last night. In the lobby of their apartment building, it wasnt safety glass, when he fell thru it it caused him to bend over the bottom half of the broken glass causing the glass to cut his belly. He was rushed by ambulance to St John Moross campus and into surgery. It seemed we sat there waiting for hours for the surgeon to come out and talk to us. Finally, when he did the news was all fantastic! Mason didnt have any internal lacerations but they do have to keep an eye on him for a couple of days. The surgeon said Mason was the coolest patient hed ever had, no crying just wide eyed looking around the OR. Needless to say all his nurses just love him. Its not just me, he really is a sweetheart.
