My take on the coming election this morning is that LEADING is - TopicsExpress

My take on the coming election this morning is that LEADING is never an easy task... and no matter ones approach, you will never be able to please everybody. So Im seeing the political power play between PDP and APC as unnecessary if we understand that democracy cannot operate the same way in all the different countries of the world because of their different histories, values and tradition. Therefore since promises on issues like one term or not, arrangements or agreements on rotational presidency or not is purely party based and not constitutional because of the peculiarity in our composition, APC does not need to rush but wait for GEJ to round up his remaining 4 years to complete whatever he has put on ground already so as not to truncate any true developmental programme ongoing and gear up for 2019 when there will be nothing like the power of incumbency. Im saying this because it is very clear that no matter how transparent the election will be, if GEJ wins, APC will never see it as free and fair... Apart from not being able to showcase this administrations achievement because of the distraction caused by insurgency, GEJ has shown that he is a true democrat cos if it were to be some governments, we would have seen a lot of assassinations judging from what we have witnessed in the past. Or is there any other president in the history of Nigeria or even the world who has taken the kind of abuse and insult from all quarters and yet did nothing? Everybody say what they like. They call his name and abuse him directly and nothing happens. Now tell me, can the opposition take that? Just answer to yourself truthfully. I believe that four years is not worth loosing any life. That life we so hunger to better if we are voted in. However, I commend all the positive and nonpartisan criticisms. These will bring out the best from a true. Just thinking aloud. #austinomiladothinkingaloud. Stay blessed and safe everybody.
