My thanks to Darrell Sanders and Nick Huneycutt for coming by to help me work on the deck today. They helped me get the last two pilings set, so I didnt have to do it solo. Nick helped get the first set of headers up, which was a big assist! And Gina Carter Slack... she showed up mid-afternoon just to help out and stayed all the way until about 5 minutes ago. She sanded all the headers and stringers, and helped me set everything in place so far. Gina, I SO owe you one! She even had her daughter stop and grab McDonalds on the way home! (Rachel, thank you very much!) I appreciate all the help today from those that came by! Paige Chamberlain Quattrocchi even came to spend time with me today. She cant do much while holding a baby, but its motivating to have company! (and she brought me cake!!!) Now, Im calling it done for the night. We cant see to work even with the lights, so... Im so physically exhausted that it hurts to chew food... I havent been this wiped in... ever! Jessica Christy is coming tomorrow to help me get it finished and I HOPE to start staining it tomorrow afternoon, maybe get the ceiling fan run and lights installed. Well see. Today was great and we made a lot of progress! Now... Im going to bed!
