My thoughts and prayers are with Linda Hallowell whose husband Rick Vernacchio has passed away suddenly. Rick was an awesome guy, who despite his health would come out and support causes he believed in, and help anyone he could. For those of you who know about the courthouse rally to show support to the Pasquales, Rick was in his wheelchair and despite feeling sick and being in 90° weather, he stayed the entire time to hold up his custom yellow sign that made it in all the papers and drove the point home. After I met them that day, I stayed in touch (as everyone has) and besides friendship we always offered help to each other in one way or another. Linda did an amazing job of taking care of Rick, and their story is one of true love. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and I will update if there is a public service.
