My thoughts are of you and your family, more so than usual if that is even possible. This will be a difficult day filled with both anticipation and apprehension. I hope today’s challenges pass quickly and easily. I am reserving my appeals to the “higher power” we spoke about until the specifics are in. This is not a time for requests based on generalizations. Without a spoken word or a face to face meeting, you and I have shared a common bond for many years. This changed last Saturday as we finally enjoyed each other’s company. I look forward to spending many hours, days, weeks, months, and years building a friendship that is long overdue. Whether it is breaking bread together, or breadsticks, talking about alternative uses for creamy or chunky dairy products, or your love of books, I will be there. I promise!
