My uncle Johnny Morino passed away a few weeks ago. My dad called said he was sick and a week later dad called and said he passed away. Damn. This is another reason I wish I had a better relationship with my dads side of the family. Some good things that came out of this was being able to hug my uncles boys. John, Nicholas Morino and hug and meet for the first time, uncle Johnnys 3rd son Chris Greene and his wife Alicia. It hurt when cousin john cried in my arms. I wish I couldve taken the pain away. I only have a few left on my mothers side. I was able to introduce my son to more of my dads side this weekend. I got to hug the unhuggable... Frankie lee Morino, my sister, for the first time in almost 10 years. More than anything I was able to spend time with family. And my dad hustled me into driving him to Randys donuts in inglewood... For 2 donuts and a t-shirt...Damn. Lol It is not a rumor my uncle Johnny had a bad ass side to him when he was a younger man. But he had a great affect on people around him. And thats something I can try to do a little better in my life. So uncle Johnny, you taught me something in your death, for that, Im greatfull...
