My video for the NRAs Good Guys national ad campaign. During my travels across the country over the past two years, I have heard many stories and concerns about our country. How people seem more upset, more angry, more volatile. But its also here at home. Ive posted on Facebook how even here in San Francisco, drivers seem to be honking more, cutting people off more, and yelling out their windows more. San Franciscans are also pissed about rising housing prices and are unfairly placing the blame on my former employer, Google, and the rest of the tech community. Protesters have been doing all sorts of crazy things. I feel peoples anger here where I live, and its only gotten worse over the past 7 years. There are obviously other things going on in our country thats contributing to more people being on edge. Ferguson, Ebola, ISIS, just to name a few. The solution? I believe in the Good Guys, people like you and me banding together and standing for civility, responsibility, and virtue. You cant get into brawls at your kids Little League games, and you cant bully people online or offline, period. Im naturally an optimistic person, and so I believe that things will get better.
