My wife arrived from work last night at about 6pm. She wanted to - TopicsExpress

My wife arrived from work last night at about 6pm. She wanted to go out to the shops when the car decided not to start. My son and I also tried to start the engine and we both came to the conclusion that the battery has, in fact, run flat. Been members with the RAC (Vehicle Emergency Service), we called the RAC. Ten minutes later, a young gentleman from the RAC arrived and checked the battery. He confirmed that the battery was flat. Furthermore, his sophisticated meter indicated that the battery could be recharged but is most likely to go flat again in another month or so. This battery has been fully functional for seven consecutive years and has truly passed its expected lifetime. The RAC gentleman told us the RAC response van stocks brand new batteries for the RAC customers that we can buy, if we liked. Before committing to his price, I did a quick check on the internet and confirmed that the RAC price was in fact lower than many of the mainstream shops. Ten minutes later we had a brand new battery on the car, and my wife drove off to where she wanted to go. When can we, in Sudan, get a similar fast response and individuals like the RAC gentleman whom we can trust?? 18/June/2013
