My wife has passed and the pain that my family and I feel is immeasurable. Her presence is felt in every corner of our home and in the essence of our being. Her loss is tremendously felt by us and by those who knew and loved her. We are still in shock even as we make preparations to send her to the kingdom. My heart aches but I try to draw comfort in knowing my beautiful Tira had a faith in God that I have never seen before and that she knew she would be sitting by his side in the kingdom of heaven. Please join my family in the celebrating of her life as we send her to the King. Funeral Services will be arranged through Metropolitan Funeral Home. Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday 13 July 2014 at Metropolitan 120 W. Berkley Ave Norfolk Va 23523 from 2pm to 5pm. The Church Funeral will be Monday 14 July 2014, 12pm, at: Grove Baptist Church 5910 W Norfolk Road Portsmouth Virginia 23703 Immediately following the service the procession will travel to Chesapeake where Tira will be laid to rest in the peace park at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens at 524 Cedar Road. We ask friends and family to join us in refreshment following the services in the Metropolitan Dining Hall at 120 W. Berkley Ave Norfolk Va 23523.
