My wonderful husband just got done mixing up a secret batch of playdoh for the kids using this awesome recipe I found on pinterest. 1 cup flour 1 cup water 2 tsp cream of tartar 1/3 cup salt 1 Tbsp veg. oil Food coloring Combine flour, salt, and cream of tartar and whisk in a bowl to remove flour lumps. Then mix water, oil, and desired food color in small pan and place on stove on low heat. When the water is warm add the flour mix and whisk mixture together. Once the mixture comes together switch to a wooden spoon or a rubber spatula. Cook doh until it no longer looks wet. Remove from pan place on wax paper and cool for 30 min. After 30 min knead dough and place in container.
