Myself, Bathabile Dlamini, and Thabang Makwetla and others Officiated on the National Congress of the ANCYL that elected Fikile Mbalula as President of the ANCYL.This conference was held in Gauteng ( I think it was at Nasrec/Galkegher Estate if I remember well.) Julius Malema was leading the Polokwane Delegation as that provinces ANCYL leader then. He was extremely rude, crass and disruptive right from registration, to credentials presentation, through to Commissions, plennery and the Resolution stage of the Conference. I repeatedly raised concerns about his behaviour at that conference, and tried to raise it also as an area of focus whito be included as part of the conference report. I was however repeatedly told that I did not know what the total bigger plan is/ was moving forward. Other conference delegates were concerned too ( Nkomo Nkodlo will attest to this), but others were better of the bigger plan. It turned out later that the total bigger plan would later entail Julius Malema being elected and endorsed as a YL President out of a heavily contest bum-displaying conference in Mangaung. That would be followed by plenty vulgar rhetoric being unleashed systematically and relentlessly on various leading South Africans by Julius Malema and his cohorts. Today that vulgarism has found expression and home in our National Parliament, and I wonder if the people who hatched that next bigger plan do at least secretly admit that its them that created the monster in Julius Malema, the monster that is biting us and our national pride today. We are fast moving from a world-wide celebrated nation that arose from the ashes of Apartheid-conflict to become a laughing stock of other nations. This situation needs to be arrested very fast, I humbly propose.
