Myth busting time!! Over the last couple of months so many people have asked me or told me they have been advised against doing any running!. Now what im about to say is not only the opinion of myself, but the opinion of any decent trainer and backed up by science. Running should be a part of any balanced training programme, you get so many benefits from running that you simply can not get from anything else. Now most people i talk to on a daily basis have weight loss or toning up as their goal, running will not only help with this but even improve the likelihood of it happening. Time to start questioning the stuff your told, and speak to the many trainers who actually have the experience to give you the best advise possible, and leave the incompetent ones alone :) rant over
