Mʏ Oᴘɪɴɪᴏɴ ᴏɴ sᴇʟғ-ᴘʀᴏᴄʟᴀɪᴍᴇᴅ Dʀ. , Sᴄɪᴇɴᴛɪsᴛ , Iɴᴠᴇɴᴛᴏʀ Sᴀᴍᴜᴇʟ Zᴇᴍɪᴄʜᴀᴇʟ. . . I am not sure how many of you, if any, have heard of the news about the arrest of the infamous con-artist Samuel Zemichael. Apparently, a video showing a man whose face is not fully revealed being handcuffed and placed into the back seat of white police cruiser was transmitted on Ethiopias televised News media. . First and for most, i would like to state that the purpose of this narrative is to somewhat challenge and offer different venues conducive to the reports and analysis asserted by the media, and thus facilitate a wide range of possibilities surrounding the speculation. . I reckon that the man shown in the video being hand cuffed is not Samuel Zemichael. If the man arrested is indeed Samuel, why not show his full face on TV. The contingency is Samuel since his arrest has not surfaced in the media and his whereabouts are unknown. . On a secondary note, It is very essential to know that the alleged impostor – Samuel Zemichael - while committing these bizarre crimes he has come to rub shoulders with top TPLF/EPRDF officials. In fact, It has even come to light that Samuel , as a self-acclaimed Inventor and proprietor, has been able to obtain lump sum of money from various top officials - like that of ex-president Girma Woldegiorgis - who , at one point or another, has conducted and exercised business opportunities with Samuel himself. . . In contrast, to bring a formal accusation against Samuel and cautiously force Samuel to face a trial -under a full light of media - will do a major damage, not only to those officials who have previously conducted business deals with Samuel, but also , it goes to undermine and discredit the very political party which these officials have been sworn to serve and represent. Moreover, exposing the link between these top officials and that of Samuel Zemichael , without a shadow of a doubt, goes to question the current ruling partys (EPRDF) effectiveness and integrity. . . Therefore, carrying out justice like it should be carried under a democratic country - if democracy really exists - and thereby allowing Samuel to speak freely and openly under a glare of suspenseful media will indeed open a can of warm than it serves the current justice system in Ethiopia.
