Commenced operations in September 2013 as a regional bank with its headquarters at Luther House, Sokoine Drive - Dar es Salaam. Reporting toManaging Director, the position will be responsible for managing branch on daily basis to deliver business growth, excellent customer service, operational compliance, staff performance and development: Key Accountabilities -Take leading role in mobilizing deposits and growing income -Supervise all activities of the branch. -Ensuring excellent customer service -Ensure operational compliance to processes -Create and analyze management information system reports -Handle customer complains -Preparing budget and projections for the branch business. -Bring in new customers and boosts profits -Perform other duties as may be directed or assigned by her/his supervisor. Maendeleo Bank is the first bank in Tanzania to be registered in Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) from its start. The Bank wishes to recruit qualified personnel to fill the following vacant positions within the Bank. This is a key role, supporting the work of the Bank at the most senior level. You will report directly to the Managing Director and you will be required to: Support the MD in the achievement of his/her strategic objectives Support effective operation of the Board of Directors. Responsible for day today user problem resolution, modifications and enhancements of system as required to meet business needs. Key Accountabilities: -Work with all departments to resolve day today user system issues. -Ensure End of day and backups are done on daily basis -Work with all departments to resolve day today user system issues. -Ensure that CCTV are running and updates are taken on daily basis and its backups -Configure, setup and run routine processes such as metadata input, routing of documents for storage, archiving and file restoration -Routine monitoring of all daily logs and exception reporting produced by the system. -Investigate and resolve all events reported on the logs and reports to ensure the system runs at optimum performance - levels. -Participate in disaster recovery planning and tests. Lead all recovery activities for the Core banking system and assist with the recovery of other Bank systems as required Core Competencies: -Good understanding of system administrator function for a Windows or Unix system. -Understanding of web design and some knowledge in Firewalls, Cyberoam, ASA,or SONIC WALLS. -Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business documentation, professional,Journals, technical specifications and project management documentation. -Ability to maintain Daily backups of and update on Disaster recovery sites -Ability to do End of day and update daily reports on core banking system. -High level of integrity and honesty.
