NAIROBI, KENYA: A bus that was headed to Nairobi’s Githurai area was on Monday night hijacked and passengers robbed of their valuables. The bus dubbed Sunbird was ferrying more than 60 passengers when eight of them turned out to be robbers. The thugs who were armed with four pistols commandeered the bus to Kariobangi area where they robbed passengers of cash and valuables. Police have since arrested the driver and conductor for interrogation. This is the latest incident as the number of attacks on public service vehicles increase.
