NAROOMA HUNTFEST DONATES TO RESCUE SQUAD Wednesday, July 31, 2013 The Narooma News DUE to the success of Narooma HuntFest held over the June long weekend, the South Coast Hunters Club was pleased to be able to make a donation to the Narooma Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) rescue squad. The event surpassed all expectations but would not have run so smoothly without the help of the VRA, whose members donated their time to staff the organic venison food stand. Well-known VRA identity Jeff Garrad donated the venison from his organic deer farm. See your ad here The weekend resulted in a big win for the VRA with treasurer Onno de Smeth able to present the squad president Stuart Kennedy with a $500 cheque from the HuntFest stall proceeds.
