NASCAR Bring Troops to the Track Program to Talladega: The Armed Forces Foundation and NASCAR continue the 2013 Troops to the Track program on Sunday, October 20th by bringing service members from the Maxwell Air Force Base to the Camping World RV Sales 500. Maxwell AFB has a reputation of excellence in the fields of logistics, communications, education and training. The goal of Maxwell AFB is to develop mission-ready Airmen and operate a world-class installation. Members of this group have served overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Southwest Asia, Central America, Bahrain and Kyrgyzstan. 2013 season of Troops to the Track, a program in which service members are treated to a daylong interactive at-track experience, which includes: a special invitation and recognition at the drivers pre-race meeting, a private tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage, pit road access during driver introductions / National Anthem and special seating in the grandstands.
