NASCAR TRAFFIC UPDATE: The Fort Worth Police Department will reroute traffic leaving today’s race at Texas Motor Speedway in a mini-contraflow from the south entrance of TMS along SH 114 to Interstate 35W, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. All lanes of SH 114 will be routed eastbound from approximately 2-6 p.m., pending weather or other race delays. As thousands of vehicles begin leaving TMS, motorists should expect delays. The heaviest delays in the area are expected from 2-6 p.m. Motorists traveling west on SH 114 from I-35W will be rerouted north on I-35W to FM 407, west on FM 407 to FM 156, and then south on FM 156 and back to westbound SH 114.
