NAZARETH, (PIC)-- The Palestinians in the Arab towns of the 1948 occupied lands on Sunday organized a general strike in protest at the cold-blooded killing of 22-year-old Kairuddin Hamdan by the Israeli police in Kafr Kanna town. During a meeting held on Saturday evening, the high follow-up committee for the Arab masses in the 1948 occupied lands decided to initiate the general strike today and organize angry protests in all Arab towns to protest the murder of the young man. Since the early morning hours, all Arab-owned commercial stores, schools, municipal councils and other institutions have been closed in response to the general strike.
