**NB: Photo being sought as we speak - will be up-loaded asap ** A search will resume at first light for a man missing in a state forest near Orange. Robert French, 24, left his home in Orange about 11.15am yesterday (Saturday 14 June 2014), to go to Glenwood State Forest. Police were alerted when he failed to return home last night. Officers from Canobolas Local Area Command last night established a command post at the forest and commenced a land search. Robert was not carrying a mobile phone and concerns are held for his welfare due to conditions overnight, which were cold, wet and foggy. He’s described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall and with a thin build. He was wearing a red flannelette jumper and jeans. He was driving a Mitsubishi utility with Queensland registration 849 TLE. Police have not located the utility. The search was suspended due to poor conditions just after 11.30pm. This morning’s search will involve local police and SES volunteers. Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/. Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence. We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
