NC-PDP members fight in Board Meeting. : Members of ruling National Conference and opposition PDP turned a meeting of District Development Board in Bandipore into a virtual battlefield amid accusations and abuses. Reports said that heated arguments between Higher Education Minister Mohammad Akbar Lone and PDP MLA NIzamuddin Bhat turned ugly turn when the latter accused the government of turning blind eye towards the development in the district. Sources said that they hurled abuses and almost reached to fist fighting due to which the meeting was disrupted. Besides Bhat, the PDP MLC Naeem Akhtar also came under attack."It was the repeat of what he did in Assembly"a PDP leader said accusing Lone of crossing all the limits. Lone or any other member from NC could not be reached immediately.
