NC to form Coalition Opposition :Zulfikar Historic rally of PDP held at Peeri PEERI, November 21, 2014 Following granting of tehsil and block status to Peeri area of Rajouri district, local residents organised historic rally in support of Peoples Democratic Party candidate Zulfikar Ali Choudhary and extended full support to him in the elections. The rally was attended by thousands of people of Peeri. Choudhary Zulfikar Ali was taken in a cavalcade of about 300 vehicles to Peeri where a mammoth gathering welcomed him and thanked his efforts for getting tehsil and block status for Peeri. Speaking on the occasion, Zulfikar Ali Choudhary said that mood of people is clear signal that people want to remove out National Conference and Congress and form new government of PDP in the state. He said that he is confident that this time PDP will get 55 seats in the state and National Conference will not even qualify to form opposition. He said that National Conference will surely form Coalition opposition because they will not get two digit seats. He added that this is the result of anti-people policies of this government who failed in governance and also failed in curbing unemployment in the state. He said that this will be historic defeat of national Conference. “They have already accepted defeat. It is why some NC leaders are joining PDP and some have went on leave to London while some have changed their seats and managed a safe seat to contest election”, he said adding that it is acceptance of defeat by Omar Abdulla to vacate Ganderbal seat for PDP. On the occasion, religious leader Peer Muzafer Baji has appealed people to support Mufti Muhammad Sayeed for his good work which had done and for a prosperous future. District President Abdul Qayoom Dar, Senior Leader Ajaz Mirza, District Secretary Manzor Bukhari, Tazeem Dar etc also appealed voters to vote in support of Ch. Zulfikar Ali.
