NEED BARN & HOUND HELP? Seeking Summer Job with Horses/Hounds - I am Denya Leake, and I am finishing my second year at Bridgewater College, Virginia, working towards being a large animal vet tech. In the past I have spent my summers schooling and riding horses for a MFH of my hunt, Blue Ridge Hunt, working on a farm (tractors, haying machinery) and working with hounds. Ive lived on a farm with horses all my life and my first pony was 36 tall, but I was only 4 years old so it worked for both of us! I would like a full time summer position primarily riding My qualifications: Foxhunted first flight for 11 years (since I was 9 years old!) Acted as honourary whipper-in (1 year solo) Rode with the professional whipper-in (2 years) Evented Training Level, with a 4th at Waradeca Started and schooled my TB/Cleveland Bay to Training Level and full time foxhunter (1st flight, whipping-in and as a huntsmans horse) Quick study under instruction (good at translating instructions into action) Can give shots and IV Have my own truck Drive trailers (bumper & gooseneck) Drive tractors Dont smoke and rarely drink, and then only moderately Daughter of USET 3 Day Team member Caroline Treviranus (Leake) Won the award at my high school for the greatest # of community service hours (Middleburg Academy) Have my passport, can travel! dl001(AT)eagles.bridgewater.edu
