NEED INPUT ON A SCENARIO: If you buy a large ticket item from a salesperson, say a car for $35,000, on a sat. or two weeks after the sale and you need something fixed on it or want to add an accessory to it. If you call and leave a message for the salesperson about your concern. Do you feel it is appropriate for the salesperson to just tell the service department to call them back. Or should the sales person act as a go between to gather the information about the problem and then work with service department to schedule an appointment that works for the customer. Am I asking too much to expect a salesperson to be involved? you took my money at least pretend like you care about me. For sure if I got the brush off I would not be buying another car from that person, even if I went back to that same dealership.
