NEVER BE AFRAID AGAIN...YOU ARE AS BOLD AS A LION...ITS TIME TO ROAR One of the jobs of a pastor according to Jer. 23:4, is to feed his sheep so they will not fear. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall FEAR NO MORE. If you will feed on these scriptures you will find yourself FREE FROM FEAR for Prov.1:33, tells us that those who hearken (listen) to GOD’S Word shall dwell safely and be free from fear. The following scriptures are quoted from King James Version first followed by other translations. Soon you will see that you have nothing to fear not even fear itself for Prov 3:25, says, be not afraid of sudden fear. Isa 54:14 In righteousness thou shalt be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. Oppression shall be far from you, and nothing need you fear; ruin shall be remote from you, it never shall come near. MOF And in triumph shall you be restored. You shall be free from oppression and have no fears, free from terror, and it shall not come near you. NEB In righteousness shalt thou be established, be thou far from oppression, but indeed thou shalt not fear, and from crushing calamity but indeed it shall not come near thee. RHM By righteousness shall you be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall have nothing to fear, and far from destruction, for it shall not come near you. GDSP Thou shalt be established in righteousness, at a distance from oppression; yea, thou shalt not fear it, and from destruction; yea, it shall not approach unto thee. SPRL You shall establish yourself on righteousness – right in conformity with GOD’S will and order; you shall be far even from the thought of oppression or destruction for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. AMP Ps 91:11-12, For HE shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. For HE has charged His angels to guard you wherever you go, to lift you on their hands for fear you should strike your foot against a stone. NEB For HE gives His angels orders regarding you, to protect you wherever you go. BER For HE puts you under His angels’ charge, to guard you wherever you go, to lift you in their hands lest you trip over a stone. MOF Ps 4:8, I will both lay me down in peace and sleep: for Thou LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. In peace I will lay me down. And at once will sleep. DEW As soon as I lie down, I fall peacefully asleep. NAB Even as I lie down, sleep comes, and with sleep tranquility. KNOX Ps 56:3, What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. In the day that I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee. JPS O Most High, when I begin to fear, in YOU will I trust. NAB When I am afraid, O LORD Almighty, I put my trust in YOU. I trust in GOD and am not afraid; TEV But when I am afraid, I will put my confidence in YOU. Yes, I will trust the promises of GOD. TLB Ps 91:5-6, Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. AMP Thou shalt not be afraid of consternation by night; of the arrow flying by day; of the pestilence which walketh in the darkness; of the destruction which wasteth at noon. SPRL Isa 35:4, Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not: behold your GOD will come with vengeance, even GOD with a recompense; HE will come and save you. Say to those whose hearts beat wildly, Courage, fear not! See! Your GOD with vengeance will HE come, with the recompense of GOD will HE come to save you. Strengthen the feeble arms, steady the tottering knees; say to the anxious, Be strong and fear not. See, your GOD comes with vengeance, with dread retribution HE comes to save you. NEB Put heart into the listless, and brace all weak-kneed souls, tell men with fluttering hearts, “Have courage, never fear; here comes your GOD, HE will avenge His folk, here comes GOD’S retribution, HE comes Himself to save you!” MOF Isa 43:1-2, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters I will be with thee: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Have no fear; for I have paid your ransom; I have called you by name and you are my own. When you pass through deep waters, I AM with you, when you pass through rivers, they will not sweep you away; walk through fire and you will not be scorched, through flames and they will not burn you. NEB Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you your name – you are Mine! NAS Do not fear, for with you I AM! Look not around, for I AM thy GOD. I have emboldened thee, yea I have helped thee, yea I have upheld thee with My righteous right-hand. RHM Fear nothing, for I AM with you; be not afraid, for I AM your GOD. I strengthen you, I help you, I support you with my victorious right hand. NEB Fear not, because I AM with thee; Be not dismayed, because I AM thy GOD; I have strengthened thee, yea, I have helped thee; Yea, I have upheld thee with My faithful right hand. SPRL Isa 41:13, For I the LORD thy GOD will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. For I, YAHWEH, your GOD, I AM holding you by the right hand, I tell you, ‘Do not be afraid, I will help you’. JERUS It is I, the LORD thy GOD, that hold thee by the hand and whisper to thee, Do not be afraid, I AM here to help thee. KNOX Ps 27:1, The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? YAHWEH is the refuge of my life of whom shall I be in dread? RHM YAHWEH is the stronghold of my life; Of whom shall I be in dread? ABPS The LORD is the defender of my life, Of whom shall I be afraid? SEPT Ps 27:3, Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Even though an army were arrayed against me, my heart would have no fear; MOF Should an army besiege me, my heart would have no fear; should war beset me still would I be confident. TANAKH Yes, though a mighty army marches against me, my heart shall know no fear! I am confident that GOD will save me. TLB Even if a whole army surrounds me, I will not be afraid; even if enemies attack me, I will still trust GOD. TEV Ps 23:4, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. NLT Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way. TLB Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, LORD, for You are with me. TEV Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for You are with me; CJB Even though I walk through a valley dark as death I fear no evil, for Thou art with me. AAT Ps 27:5, For in the time of trouble HE shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall HE hide me; HE shall set me upon a rock. For in the day of trouble HE will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will HE hide me; HE will me upon a high rock. AMP Surely in the day of calamity HE will secrete me in His pavilion; HE will hide me in the secret place of His tabernacle. HE will elevate me upon the rock. SPRL Heb. 2:15, And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. And also that HE might deliver and completely set free all those who through the (haunting) fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives. AMP HE might render inoperative the one having the dominion of death, that is, the devil, and affect the release of those, as many as who by reason of fear of death through the entire course of their lives were held in bondage. WUEST In order that HE by His death might put a stop to the power of him who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and set at liberty those who all their lifetime had been subject to slavery because of their dread of death. WMS In order that by death HE might render powerless him whose power lies in death – that is the devil. TCNT So that by dying HE might crush him who wields the power of death. MOF In order that by His death HE might dethrone the lord of death, the devil, and free from their slavery men who had always lived in fear of death. GDSP Luke 1:74, That HE would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear. That freed from fear and from the hand of our foes, we should worship Him in holiness and uprightness all our days within His presence. MOF HE swore to Abraham our father, to the effect that HE would grant us that without fear, having been delivered out of the hand of our enemies, we might render sacred service to Him in holiness and righteousness before Him during all our days. WUEST HE swore to our father Abraham that we should be delivered from the hand of our enemies and enabled to serve Him unafraid in holiness and righteousness all our days. TCNT Rom 8:31, If GOD be for us, who can be against us? If GOD is for us, what does it matter who may be against us? NOR What then shall we conclude from this? If GOD is on our side, does it matter who is against us? TNT Col 1:13, Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear SON; (The Father) has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the SON of His love. AMP Who hath rescued out of the authority of the darkness – Who hath delivered us from the dominion of the power of darkness – Who hath delivered us from the tyranny of the power of darkness – Who hath delivered us from the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom – and has removed us into the kingdom of His dear SON – and re-established us in the kingdom of His dear SON – and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear SON. 26 TRANS. Mt. 10:29-30, Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:32, Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. So don’t be afraid little flock, For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. TLB Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the Kingdom. TEV Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!
