NEW DEAL: OXFORD & YANGON UNIVERSITY ------------------------------------------------- To uplift Yangon University’s education standards is the aim of a fresh Memorandum of Understanding signed Tuesday, with England based-Oxford University. The MoU will cover increased cooperation in student, teacher, and staff exchanges, as well as in research and on-site studies. University officials deem the move to be beneficial, especially with the anticipated independence of local universities soon.
