NEW Lamint Flooring in my House!!! FINALLY I have this Place Looking NICE Around here!! Every since Iv lived in Hawaii, I have kept a very nice Luxurious home and everywhere Iv got a very nice home. I always tend to rent a home that has a Master BDRM and its Own Bathroom and shower because I am very particular about having my Own bathroom and my own shower!! Over the years I got very use to making ten thousand a month and maintaining a large home. I had all my guitar tools and all my hobby tools. And each time I upgraded to a larger home I obtained more personal belongings!! Well right about 2007 the Economy Dropped and I end up Downgrading. Not by a long shot but I moved to a smaller home with a fenced yard and it was a very nice home also!! It was a good transition but the more the economy got bad the more downgrades I had to do. I end up also loosing that home and again having to move to a smaller home. Each time I have to sell as much stuff as possible because each time I downgrade my stuff will not fit!! So I moved to Kihei on the beach into a two BDRM Home and from there I made my final move!! What Happened was when I moved to Kihei I was doing pretty good. Not the best but I still had enough work to maintain income!! Well once I moved into this little house in Kihei I worked very hard to get my Commercial drivers license so I could drive big truck and get paid!! Well I succeed and right away I was able to get a Job!! The job was cool it worked out for a few months right up till I got hurt when a pallet of products fell on me injuring me and I was hurt so bad I should have been off work. But I really wanted my job and I tried to work on Light duty. Little did I know I hung my self because they used it against me.. When I could not cut Light duty they never stop to consider it might be my injury and though I want to come to work I may not be fit to work. Kind of like a US Army War Vet gets shot but he still wants to fight beside his Brothers. Well its Obvious what is best for he and everyone is that he go medical leave.. Anyway these cowards used this as an Excuse to Fire me, Cut my pay and NOT Pay me Disability!! I end up taking them to Court, I won BUT The state said that I did prove my case but that it is not possible to prove that my injury was the ONLY reason for them firing me so they could not judge in my favor. I could have hired an attorney and probly should have but I figured some day that jerk will get his Karma and I didnt need the issues anymore!! But where I am going is in that I lost my Job, The only work I had was my own jobs here and there. I made pretty good Money but its not a weekly check I can rely on! So beings I did not have a STABLE Income I wanted to find a Really CHEAP Place to rent that would have a fenced Yard, Allow my cats and work out for everything.. I pretty much did not care how well it worked for me so long as it has room for my tortoises and my cats!! So I end up renting this little studio, ALL It has is a Bathroom, Kitchen and a room. So its VERY Tiny and the Carpet is Nasty. The yard is Nasty. It was all falling apart and delapidated!! BUT I fixed the yard, fence and it worked out very well for my animals AND I pay only 700$ for Rent and electric, water, ect.. Only thing I pay for is My Cable, Internet. Well the hard Part is the landlord, Putting any money into this place I guarantee ill never get it back. And the other hard part is I have been moving Down, down down to a smaller house every few months as I look NOW I am in such a cramped area, That ALL My stuff tends to get spread allover the house and It has been a CONSTANT Mess since I moved here. I mean when I work on my Guitars Ii have to tare open a rubbermaid box, pull out my tools, set up and leave a MESS. If I am not quite finished than all these tools n such have to bve spread out everywhere till Im finished. Because they do not have there own area, I have not counter space, work shop or desk.. So every Hobby I have I tend to rip out of a Box and spread all over the place making a MESS!! So this little place has been such a mess I do not dare invite anyone over!! Well Laterly I have decided that I do NOT Want to move because the Price is really a life saver!! And the fact that 700$ Supports my Household, ALL My pets and Electric thats very amazing in Hawaii!! So I decided to work on the Quality a Bit and try to make it a place I would Invite someone to!! What I did was Built a New Fence, Made my self a HUGE Yard!! Cleaned up and Painted my fence and for the House. I ripped out the Carpet, I tore out the subfloor which I am about to R&R, Rip it out and replace it!! My Landlord does not fix jack shit. Iv had a 3 foot By 3 FOOT Hole in my LIVING Room floor for a YEAR Now!! You see the floor is Ply Wood but One sheet of Particle board got used so when we had the wet storms it blew up and when Dad Walked over he fell right through the floor!! So I have centipedes and Bugs crawling up into my home for the last 6 months!! So Iv decided to Tare it all out and fix it all and Use receipts.. According to State Landlord Tenant law I can do the repairs my self and give the receipt for rent instead of cash! And in light of it being so long that is exactly what I did!! So this Month I went down to Lowes and purchased everything I need to do this install!! So I wanted to Tile the house but thats really costly!! Well last night I saw on TV Home Depot sale on Laminant flooring for 1$ a SF!! So I went today and I found 1$ per SF for a Nice floor thatl look like Hardwood!! Itl be very clean, Very Nice!! So Iv got all the Yard fixed and looking really good, Iv got my Catery built, And the last thing is to do the floor and just set up a desk, work desk so I have a place for everything so it does not have to be torn out, make a mess every time I use it!! So now I have a very good deal and the very Last part of my remodel and my place is about to be VERY Nice!! In exchange for my time and cost my landlord is going to take 500$ a Month for the next 6-10 Months to exchange my costs!! Ill provide Photos when Its Over!!
