NEW NEXT SUPERSTORE TO OPEN IN SHEFFIELD THIS WEEK The first shoppers at the new Next superstore opening in Sheffield this week will have the chance to win £100 gift cards. The £10m store off Vulcan Road, Meadowhall – which was turned down by local planners before the Government overturned the decision – is to open at 10am on Thursday December 4 with a Christmas-themed event. Sheffield Council rejected the plans as it wanted city centre investment instead but a public inquiry was held. More than 60 jobs have been created at the new store. The first 100 shoppers through the doors will also receive a £100 gift card.
