****NEW REVIEW ALERT- TRIPADVISOR**** “Nothing but the best from TOPSHAPE!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed June 28, 2014 NEW I must say that big game fishing with Captain Al and John was an adventure. I’ve been fishing for over 40 years (primarily freshwater) and nothing to-date comes close to catching a water beast such as a marlin. Our group (see June 20th / Watta Day post by Dominador) landed two on June 20th one at 150 and the other at 225-250 lbs. I really had no idea how powerful these game fish are. I’ve only seen the action on TV and just thought they fight hard. You can read a book or see big game fishing on TV, but actually doing it is understanding. I would highly recommend spending a day or two with Captain Al and John off the coast of Kona in search of big fish. I can only imagine the fight a 1000 lb monster can put up. Captain Al’s boat is exceptionally well equipped with the latest in technology, amenities and snacks. He and John were very well organized and totally professional.
