NEW SPONSORSHIP ANNOUNCED WITH OAKLANDS COLLEGE Oaklands College to be new sponsor to Hertfordshire Mavericks, Hertfordshire Mavericks are delighted to announce Oaklands College as a new sponsor, who joins us for the forthcoming 2015 season. Oaklands College is a large Further Education College in Hertfordshire with campuses in Welwyn Garden City and St Albans and with a further training provision in Borehamwood. They offer around 1500 full and part-time courses to nearly 10,000 students who come from Hertfordshire and further afield. Their courses range from vocational courses with strong links to employers through to elite sports, the arts and a wide variety of A Levels. Sean Scully, Director of Student Experience, stated: “We are a proud sponsor and supporter of Hertfordshire Mavericks. As a Hertfordshire based FE College with a long and successful tradition in sport, we are always looking for ways to encourage more people to get involved in sport and successfully link this to education.
