NEW theater club for tweens (ages 11-13) begins on Tuesday, June 3. WHEN: Every Tuesday evening this summer (except July 1). Snacks and catching up with friends at 6:30. Class from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. WHERE: Story Theater Companys new facility at 615 South Dayton Ave., Suite 101 WHO: Led by STC instructors Kivan Kirk and Julia VanDyk. Everyone welcome, ages 11-13, to explore the theater arts in more depth. No experience necessary. WHAT: Theater Club is a great way to learn about theater, gain new skills, and make friends. Past topics have included audition skills, stage combat, improv, acting techniques, props and makeup (fake blood and shatter glass) and lots more. No pre-registration is needed, but first-time attendees need to have a completed activity authorization form. The form can be found online or can be completed by parents at drop-off. $10 fee per class, payable at the door.
