NEWS ALERT!!! Matt McGloin took the first-team quarterback reps at practice Wednesday. Terrelle Pryor (knee) practiced but worked with the second-team offense. McGloin completed 18-of-32 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns in his NFL debut against the Texans last Sunday, showing a stronger arm than most thought he possessed. Dont look for the Raiders to name a starter ahead of Friday for competitive reasons, but it would be a surprise if McGloin wasnt the guy. Hes only an option in two-QB leagues.
