NEWS UPDATE AT 9 AM WITH ORANGE The NRM Youth League delegates from Agago District who got stranded in Lira Town after the cancellation of the delegate’s conference on Monday have asked the party to meet their cost of transport and accommodation in Lira, The irked youth who travelled from different parts of Agago allege that they spent over 1 million shillings on food and lodge fees after the party called off the conference. However Northern Youth MP Evelyn Anite says that she had advised the youth not to travel before her confirmation adding that they were supposed to only be seven members not 20 as alleged by the youth. The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga is at Makerere University on his countrywide fundraising drive for the restoration of Kasubi Tombs before his United Arab tour. Mayiga will take a tour around the university library before speaking to the students. However, proceeds from this drive will be channeled towards the completion of Bulange Plaza.
