His four touchdown passes in a 42-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers gives the Denver quarterback 510 for his career, a new NFL record. Its only Week 8. I wonder if he gets to 600 by the end of 2015. Best Performance in a Losing Effort...Russell Wilson Seattle was down 21-3 to the Rams, but Wilson led them back before two huge special teams debacles. Wilson had 419 total yards in the Seahawks 28-26 loss to St. Louis, putting Seattle at 3-3, two games behind Arizona in the NFC West. Best Game...New England 27, NY Jets 25 I must say, this Thursday night game was an instant classic. The Jets and Patriots traded the lead back and forth twice in the fourth quarter before Nick Folks potential game-winning field goal was blocked. Best Win...Kansas City The Chiefs got a huge win in San Diego by holding one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL to just 251 total yards in their 23-20 win over the Chargers. Number...5-6 Thats the Chicago Bears home record the last two seasons. Talk about being a better road team. The Bears are 3-1 on the road this season. Best Play...St. Louis Special As in special teams. Stedman Bailey and the entire St. Louis Rams special teams unit made the mighty Seattle Seahawks look like Keystone Cops as Bailey returned a punt 89 yards for a touchdown after punt returned Tavon Austin faked a fair catch play. One of the best plays youll ever see.
