NGCP announces power interruption in parts of Iloilo July 12, 2013, Friday #imtnewsonline The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is informing customers and the general public on the scheduled shutdown of some of its transmission facilities in the province of Iloilo on Saturday, July 13. Elmer D. Cruz, NGCP Visayas CorpComm and Public Affairs Officer, said portions of Iloilo III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ILECO III) franchise area will be affected due to the maintenance activity to be conducted along the Dingle-Natividad 69-KV transmission line. Cruz said normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. He advised customers and the public to take necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled power interruption. He said specific cities and municipalities to be affected by the power interruption will be determined by ILECO III, unless the activity affects the entire franchise area. ILECO III allots the available power within its franchise area and implements the power interruption schedule among end-users. (PNA)
