NHL rinks across North America have upped the ante in terms of entertainment quality, introducing a new technology called On Ice Projections. The technology needed for these displays is usually a seven figure investment, but fans seem to love them. The Toronto Maple Leafs current ice projection does not disappoint. It is absolutely mesmerizing. The technology used is called Digital Projection International (DPI). High brightness systems and teams are using them to intensify fan loyalty to the franchise, reinforce the teams brand, and encourage fans to arrive earlier for awesome pre-game shows like this one, which in turn increases food and drink revenues.
