NIAID is searching for a science writer to translate clinical trial and scientific subject matter into readable content for the public, such as press releases, media availabilities, Q&As, Web content, talking points, and social media items; facilitate inquiries from reporters; and ensure written content is clear, consistent with NIAID style, and free of bureaucratic language. Minimum of four years of specialized experience in writing and editing health-related topics for dissemination to the general public and knowledge of and skill in journalistic-style media writing are required.
