NICOLE ATKINS: The New Album SLOW PHASER (VIDEO) || Join in on the release of Slow Phaser and Oh Mercy! Records... Hello everyone! The time has finally come to release my new record “SLOW PHASER” through my own brand new independent label, Oh’Mercy! records. And you guys can all be a part of it! After releasing my last two albums through a major and then an indie, I decided it would be a lot more creative and rewarding to start my own label. - Nicole Atkins My friends at Thirty Tigers offered me the opportunity to have my own imprint label through them and Sony Red and I said “Let’s get it on!” How exciting! And so I begin… Oh’ Mercy! Records! Last year, I returned to Sweden to work, once again, with producer, Tore Johannson on my new record “SLOW PHASER.” It’s a beautifully dark desert disco record. Neon Noir if you will. I spent my time before this writing the songs on my own and with my friend Jim Sclavunos of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Grinderman. “SLOW PHASER” is the consummation of a beautifully weathered journey fully realized in Technicolor! and I cannot wait to share it with you all! I’ve teamed up with PledgeMusic as a way to share the creation of this album and label with you guys. Through your pledges you will not only be able to make this album and record label come to life, but you’ll also have the opportunity to own one of a kind handmade artworks and instruments that I made just for you.
