NO122---About deflation---These days econimic news always reports on the topic of deflation in Japan. Deflation means a currency contraction. We had a golden time before, bubble ecnomy during which prices of houses, condominums were always rasing in Japan. Now, Japan has set the inflation target of about 3 %. Today, we have a derivative balance of over 2500 trillion yen. This speculative money far outdistance the value of the real ecnomy. It may need to put value on some other places to understand the movement of the money. QE3 or Quantitive easing policy may be affecting slowly, at the same time, we should understand the side effect of that. Whenever appricating the wall street, i feel the dynamic ecnomy sarcastically led by the money monster and the hedge funds must have been telling some new messages for us.
