NORMAL! I never knew how nice it was until it was gone. Today we started our normal school year schedule. I started back to work, Landon went to Mrs. Jill Hoover Dyers house and Logan got to go to school with me like normal. Landon did so good at drop off, I was worried because we went to visit both Heather Dawn Phipps Jones and Jill yesterday and he was NOT happy about it at first, But today was no big deal for him! It is just such a sigh of relief knowing besides upcoming MRIs and monthly doctor visits we will have normal (hopefully for a very very very long time)! Lots of people have asked what is next for Landon. He has an MRI on Oct 3rd (every 3 months for 2 years). He goes back to the oncologist on Oct. 10th and then (if everything gets approved by then) he will start 6 months of oral maintenance chemo. He will go every month for blood work and to flush out his port and to check in with Dr. Klesse. He goes back for a check up with his radiation doctor in 3 months, after his December MRI. Hopefully in 6 months that will be the end of medicine and he will just have MRIs and periodic check ups with Dr. Klesse and get his port out in the spring (which I cannot wait for!).
