NORTHERN IRELAND MARCHES: Some members of unionist communities in Belfast and across Northern Ireland are building bonfire structures, several stories high, in preparation for annual July 12 celebrations. The holiday commemorates William of Oranges Battle of the Boyne victory in 1690. Parades and bonfire burnings will take place over the weekend. The holiday is characterized by heightened tensions betweens unionists and nationalists.
