NOT EVERYONE IS QUALIFIED TO WORK WITH YOU If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, its important to know that not every person you speak with will be qualified to be an entrepreneur or to work with you as a business partner. You will have to learn to SET YOUR BOUNDARIES of what you will and will not accept as a candidate. Ideally I look for people that are already on the path of personal development. They already attend seminars and events to improve their life. They typically have stability in their lives with a home, their relationship with a spouse, significant other or themselves. They have a job or income stability and they have credit. In other words, they have a budget to run a business. They know what they want and why they want it. When I ask them on a scale from 1 to 10 how serious they are about their dream, they give me a number that is 10 or higher. They are not in a state of victimhood. This isnt to say that a person that just lost their job, or has their home in foreclosure, or is bankrupt or fallen on hard times cant be a candidate. In fact sometimes those people are the ones that will do whatever it takes AND have no excuses. But its important that they have NO EXCUSES and are not in a state of victimhood and stuck in their story. They may not have the resources, but they are RESOURCEFUL to find the resources to get started in their business. People that will not follow through with learning new skills or surrender their pride and ego are typically the ones that will burn your time, want the most attention and will never actually even do anything productive. You as the CEO will need to learn when to draw a line in the sand, or even cut ties completely with these energy vampires. If you get the indicators that the person is just sucking your energy everyday and will not take action to do the simple tasks or the homework to get started, cut ties and move on. There are tons of skilled people in the world that are looking to escape Corporate America. There are millions of people that have the burning desire you are looking for. Focus on them. Get VERY CLEAR on defining your perfect business partners and it will be much easier to attract them. WorkWithDarrenLittle
