DAMAGING WINDS DEVELOPING TOMORROW AFTERNOON Weather Situation A strong cold front is expected to move across western NSW Thursday, extending across the state on Friday and resulting in strong and gusty north to northwesterly winds. Gale-force winds are expected to develop over the alpine peaks during thursday afternoon. Damaging winds around 70 km/h with peak gusts of 120 km/h are forecast for parts of the Snowy Mountains forecast district.
